Burke beat football player Warren Sapp, who was also a crowd favorite.

“I’m sure you’re the public’s champion,” judge Len Goodman told him. “You make every single one of us want to dance,” Inaba said.

‘N Sync singer Lance Bass, who came on strong in recent weeks, finished third.

“You are a star,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Burker after the final dance. Inaba also praised Burke’s partner, Derek Hough, as an incredible teacher.

Buke, 37 said winning the mirrorball trophy was “unbelievable”.

The former model is best known for staring in E!’s Wild On.
